All Guided NZ rental vehicles are fully insured. Your financial liability depends on the protection level you choose.

STANDARD COVER

Included — $3,000 excess

This basic cover is included with your rental.

If the vehicle is damaged, lost, or involved in an accident, you may be liable for costs up to NZD $3,000.

REDUCED RISK COVER

Most Popular

$25 per day — $750 excess

Reduces your maximum financial liability if damage occurs.

Includes:

• Collision Damage Waiver
• Theft Protection
• Third Party Liability

PEACE OF MIND COVER

$32 per day — $250 excess

Maximum Protection

Provides the lowest excess for maximum protection and peace of mind.

Includes:

• Collision Damage Waiver
• Theft Protection
• Third Party Liability

IMPORTANT CONDITIONS

Protection does not apply if the rental agreement is breached, including:

• reckless or dangerous driving
• driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs
• unauthorised drivers
• off-road driving or river crossings
• illegal use of the vehicle

Damage to tyres, windscreen, roof, or underbody may incur excess charges unless caused by a verified accident.
